Statewide Broadband Inventory Maps (Beta Version)
These are maps displaying the broadband service inventory across the state.
The data contained within these maps are currently in beta version. Connect Kansas will continue to update and refine these maps as more data are gathered from consumers like you, to most accurately reflect the current broadband landscape.

What do these maps show?

These are printer-friendly maps that include broadband coverage, cities and towns, county boundaries, and detailed road information.
The data contained within these maps are currently in beta version.

The maps represent the coverage areas of 77 Kansas broadband providers.

97.23% of Kansas households have access to terrestrial fixed broadband service of at least 768Kbps downstream and 200Kbps upstream (excluding mobile and satellite services).

2.77% of Kansas households are unserved by a terrestrial fixed broadband provider, representing approximately 28,747 unserved households that do not have access to a fixed wireless or wired broadband service offering (excluding mobile and satellite service).

With mobile broadband service included, 99.55% or 1,033,195 Kansas households have access to broadband service of at least 768Kbps downstream and 200Kbps upstream.
- This analysis is conducted through a geoprocessing tool that analyzes Census Block demographics with the aggregated broadband service overlay from the provider data. For more information about the methodology, please click here.
